"Effectively, change is almost impossible without industry-wide collaboration, cooperation, and consensus." – Simon Mainwaring, author and founder of We First
Recognizing the need for alliances and other industry groups to work together to solve the complex challenges faced by an industry undergoing enormous change, Autonomous Vehicle Technology magazine has named MIPI Alliance a 2019 ACES Award winner in its Autonomy, Consortia category.
The publication’s inaugural awards recognize the “most innovative technologies, products and services of the year” in its primary coverage areas of autonomy, connectivity, electrification and mobility services. The winners were determined through reader input and refined by a panel of editors, contributors and experts.
In its recognition of MIPI, the publication noted that the “tremendous confluence of new-mobility technology—related to advanced driver assistance, autonomy, connectivity, infotainment, electrification, and new business models—has placed huge pressure on the auto industry to integrate the various electronic components from a growing supply base in a way that is simple, efficient, and cost effective.”
MIPI Alliance members that were also recognized with AVT ACES awards include:
Autonomy
Connectivity
Electrification
Full coverage of the AVT ACES award winners can be found on the publication’s website and in its December issue (registration required). You can also learn more about MIPI’s automotive efforts on the MIPI website.
