Planning is well underway for the MIPI Automotive Workshop, coming up on 17 November 2021. The half-day virtual event, designed to provide a comprehensive look at the latest MIPI automotive specifications and initiatives, will benefit automotive developers, system architects and engineering managers who are focused on the design, development, integration and test of next-generation automotive E/E architectures.
The workshop's eight technical sessions will cover the complete MIPI Automotive SerDes Solutions (MASS) system, which provides a standardized connectivity framework for high-performance sensors and displays. Topics covered in the workshop include the display and sensor (camera/lidar/radar) stacks, functional safety, security and data protection, plus MIPI A-PHY℠ implementation, system modeling and test. In addition, MIPI’s legal counsel will host a session to step through MIPI's IPR policies related to the implementation of MASS specifications.
Each session will have an extended Q&A period, giving attendees the opportunity to get answers directly from the MIPI working group leaders involved in the development of the specifications.
The topics and presenters are listed below. For detailed session information and to register for the event, visit the Automotive Workshop event page.
For those interested in learning more about the MASS framework before the workshop, MIPI recently published "An Introductory Guide to MIPI Automotive SerDes Solutions (MASS)," a white paper that provides an overview of each component of the framework (available online or as a downloadable PDF).
