The first quarter of 2023 brought new additions throughout the MIPI Alliance membership. Google LLC became the Alliance’s newest Promoter member, while 14 Adopter members and four new Contributors were added to the membership roster from 1 January to 31 March.
We look forward to working with these new members joining the growing list of MIPI members worldwide developing and implementing MIPI specifications.
New Promoter Member
A MIPI Contributor member since 2010, Google has participated in the development of specifications through multiple working groups—engagement that led to the company being recognized with a 2021 MIPI Alliance Corporate Award. Promoter members are elected to their positions by the MIPI Alliance board and have a two-year term and a voting seat on the board for the duration of the term. Four New Contributor Members
MIPI welcomes new Contributor Targetek Ltd., along with recently upgraded members Silicon Labs, Soliton Technologies and Xscend Lab Inc. Representatives of these companies can now join MIPI working groups to participate in the development of specifications and supporting resources, as well as access all specifications during draft review.

MIPI Adopter Members: Join the Contributor Trial Program
If your company is currently an Adopter member of MIPI Alliance and interested in contributing to specification development and working group discussions, learn more by participating in the MIPI Alliance Contributor Trial Membership Program. Proposals are now being accepted for the next three-month trial period beginning on 1 May 2023.
