Piscataway, NJ – 26 May 2010 – The Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) Alliance will hold an open informational session June 16, 2010 at the San Diego Mission Valley Marriott Hotel from 1-6pm. Targeting technical professionals in the mobile wireless industry, the session will highlight numerous working groups and specifications. The MIPI Alliance spans the industry’s ecosystem, including physical layer, radio frequency front end, peripherals, interfaces, software, and test and debug.
“As a global collaborative organization, the MIPI Alliance members are driving new technology and enabling faster deployment of features in a wide variety of mobile products,” said Joel Huloux, Chairman of the Board, MIPI Alliance, Inc. “Through this information session, we hope to engage with San Diego’s robust wireless community and share our exciting work.”
The MIPI Alliance is comprised of over 175 member companies including IP, semiconductor, software, peripheral, test equipment and end product manufacturers. All working groups follow a traditional model of technical contributions and discussions leading to specification review and ratification. Numerous specifications have been released over the past six years, with adoption by industry-leading companies. MIPI specifications have been successfully deployed in numerous products available today.
