MIPI A-PHY Compliance Program Test Event
Applications due 14 March for July 2025 event
Test equipment vendors and companies that have devices under test (DUTs) are encouraged to apply to participate in the 14-18 July 2025 A‑PHY Compliance Program test event. The event will take place at the Resillion testing labs facility in Hasselt, Belgium, and will focus on exploratory Rx test, Tx, correlation and onboarding of additional test equipment vendors.
Interested companies are asked to review the requirements and submit their application by 14 March.
Please align within your company and submit only one response to this call for interest.
Participation will not result in certified compliance, but device vendors will receive valuable feedback about their devices and have the opportunity to collaborate with others in a confidential environment protected by non-disclosure agreements. Data will be collected to allow correlation of the results, potential debugging and feedback on the specification and CTS. However, results will be displayed anonymously. All testing will be performed in a large space suitable to accommodate multiple test stations.
Selection Process
The A-PHY Compliance Advisory Group will review all submissions, and participants will be selected based on the needs of the testing event to balance representation of Tx and Rx DUTs in the testing process.
If a company is selected to participate, the designated contact person will be notified by email, and MIPI will follow up with details about the event and testing process, as well as a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that must be signed and submitted at least three months prior to the event.
About the program
Initiated by the A-PHY Working Group, the compliance program is being established to help ensure that MIPI A-PHY® and A-PHY-related specifications in MIPI's Automotive SerDes Solutions (MASS™) framework meet the industry’s needs and requirements. The program is focused on testing A-PHY first, using the recently published A-PHY Reference Compliance Test Suite. Later phases will extend to the many A-PHY protocol adaptation layer (PAL™) specifications, which enable higher-layer protocols to operate seamlessly over the MIPI A-PHY physical link.
A second event in 2025 is currently being planned for December. The testing focus areas and location are still being finalized.
For more information about participating in these events, please contact the A-PHY Compliance Program team.
