MIPI CSI-2® is the world’s most widely adopted camera and imaging conduit solution. And CSI-2 continues to evolve, offering advancements that support the rapidly expanding machine vision applications spanning multiple platforms. In this presentation, Haran will explore the core standardized features of CSI-2 and highlight present developments aimed at enhancing machine vision systems. Key topics will include event sensing and processing, two-wire and three-wire encapsulated transport solutions, plesiochronous system support, single-bus architecture for multiple sensors, dual PHY macro capabilities, scalable backend image signal processors, and virtual channel expansion.
